Writings

Words and paper are some of the oldest magical tools known, and keeping some sort of magical journal has always been a part of my practice. This site is my first attempt at publish these writings in a coherent way.
I personally think magic should be as accessible as possible to all, and that the trappings of elaborate, golden candelabra’d ritual or the byzantine demonic deals behind publishing, are really bad ways to do magic. I do intend to seek pubishing, in some form, for my writings, but as a one-time poor kid I know how much it sucks to feel like you can’t do “real magic" without spending a bunch of money.
I’ll be making my works available here, for free. Feel free to download anything you’d like. If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to email me at presto.b@gmail.com. I’d be honored to try to find time to respond.

Excerpts from the Grimoire of Johnny Savage, Volume 1
Kimri Manuscript

This text compromises a series of essays, rituals, and resources, in the form of a traditional magical liber. This collection draws from previous writings of one, Johnny Savage, a marauder and chaos monk, with edits and original content from several sources, with the primary body of writing created in the summer and fall of 2018.

Within this document, you’ll find an essay on magical words, a paean to a long-dead Roman, resources on Gnosticism and the Gnostic Elements, a few rituals, and an arcanum of resources.
